ALESSANDRA PIAIA

Alessandra has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Instituto Maua de Tecnologia - Brazil and a master’s degree in sanitation and environment from the Escuela Politecnica de la Universidad de São Paulo - Brazil.

Alessandra began her career as a proposal and process engineer at Enfil SA, a Brazilian company specialized in supplying turn key systems. There, she worked on various schemes for water treatment systems for the oil and gas, pulp and paper, energy, and beverage industries, applying some technologies such as conventional treatment, UF, RO and ion exchange resins. In 2016, she joined Toray, providing support for sales activities in South America (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay) regarding the following membrane technologies: MBR, UF, NF, and RO, including designs, startups, problem-solving, pilot studies, case studies, and others.
